I like your suggestion that the NHS could take more of a stake in the success of businesses that it grant-funds or otherwise aids in the development of — this would help disseminate the innovation across the NHS, and also probably provide a return on the investment for the NHS — which could help fund direct care, or fund further iterations of development.
